History Teacher:
The British International School Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint an outstanding History Teacher to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.

You will be a teacher who is passionate about their profession and seeks continuous improvement. You will have strong experience of the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage.
You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community. You will have a strong focus on being the best teacher you can be and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success. Keen to collaborate and share your expertise, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships. The flexibility and open-mindedness required to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment are essential.
About the Role:
Our school follows the UK national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programmer post-16. The successful candidate will be able to inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximizing student progress. The ability to teach an additional humanities subject would be an advantage. The role of Head of Humanities may be available to the right candidate.

Selection Process:
Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Head Teacher/Principal.
The closing date for application is 14th January 2019. Interviews will be conducted at the School.
The start date is mid-August 2019.
