We are looking for an FTA Approved VAT consultant cum Accountant who shall demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Preparation, confirmation and giving in of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for the UAE entities
- keep controls by adhering to the accounting department’s policies and procedures and ensure Tax practices are in conformity with UAE financial reporting
- Providing accounting and bookkeeping support to make sure those financial transactions are in conformity and of the VAT regulations.
- Functioning with tax laws in UAE and update the alteration to the management.
- Compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements in order that senior management has accurate and timely information for creating financial decisions. These reports may include monthly VAT liabilities, VAT returns, regulatory reports and filings
- Delivery of accounting services to range of client• Willingness to undertake business development activities and a capability to spot opportunities
- Build and maintain strong networks internally and externally so as to grow the business of accounting and auditing
- Process various journal entries associated with general accounting
- Strong technical understanding of accounting principles
- Finalization of annual Accounts
- Keep accurate financial records for the Clients including data entry
- Knowledge and knowledge in External audit & Internal Audit
- Prepare audit work plan
- Handle folder of accounting, VAT and audit clients
- Supply VAT calculation and settlement for clients and submit quarterly VAT returns both onsite and offsite
- Create and document audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements for clients
- Builds relationships and communicates effectively so as to positively influence peers and other stakeholders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills-good judgment and reasoning skills.
Job Qualifications and Experience:
- Should be Registered Tax Agent with Federal Tax Authority
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance or its equivalent
- A minimum of one year of accounting and audit experience (home country experience shall be considered)
- Good communication and technical skills required
- Outstanding analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Ms Office, Tally, Quick Books as well as knowledge of the accounting software’s
- Good report writing skills
