Job brief:
We are looking for a competent Debt Collection Specialist to contact clients and collect outstanding payments. You will ensure a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments.
Our Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Keep customer files updated, recording times and dates that contact has been made and noting information that customers have received about their debt.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a customer services, call center agent or similar role
- Working knowledge of MS Office and databases
- Comfortable working with targets
- Patience and ability to manage stress
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Skilled in negotiation
