Job Profile:
To be in charge of site execution, coordinate all submitting, procurement coordination, design and shop drawings coordination for the complete electrical and infrastructure works at the designated project. He should have experience in co-ordination with Client / Consultant / Vendors / Sub-contractors / government Authorities, Supervision of Electrical Installations, Testing / commissioning / Maintenance of EHV / HV / LV electrical systems in different capacities.
The Candidate should have experience in:
High Voltage Cable Installation 11kV to 400 kV – From excavation to laying of cables of all diameters, back-filling and reinstatement.
Cable Jointing & Termination 11kV to 33 kV.
Power & Distribution Substations Design, procurement & Implementation up to 33 kV.
Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:
- General supervision and inspect the installation, modification and commissioning of electrical systems at construction sites.
- Supervising all execution staff and workers at project site.
- Preparing Time sheets of foremen, and workers.
- Monitor, verify, and document the work being performed through subordinates.
- To ensure proper implementation of design at site.
- Generate/Review material requisitions, submitting, and ensure contract performance measures are met.
- Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works.
- Marking of corridor area, excavation of area as per the requirement, filling the area by the dune sand and normal sand.
- Back fill and compact the area and prepare the measurement sheets and do the FDT, reinstatement work and material reconciliation.
- Supervise all High Voltage Cable Installation 11kV to 400 kVAs – From excavation to laying of cables of all diameters, back-filling and reinstatement.
- Supervise all Cable Jointing & Termination 11kV to 33 kV.
- Power & Distribution Substations Design, procurement & Implementation upto 33 kV.
- Cable route site surveys and supervision of cable joints for MV and LV cables and record site survey reports.
- Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with Government (DEWA, ADDC, Dubai)standards for electrical works.
- Submit data sheet for daily, weekly, monthly reports to Project Engineer.
Qualification requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical – Mandatory Requirement
- 4-6 years of UAE experience in electrical design, supervision, and installation of electrical installations
- Candidate should be with RTA Approval. – Mandatory Requirement
- Candidate should have experience in DEWA and Dubai Municipality.
- Fluency in English and Hindi.
