Assistant Corporate Insurance Manager

Description:
- Prepare insurance specifications to market insurance programs and consult with insurance brokers to negotiate optimal insurance coverage
- Plan and manage the insurance renewals including the preparation of the renewal requirements
- Monitor and optimize the Company’s insurance coverage through comprehensive analyses of historical claim data.
- Manage the timely inclusion, update and deletion for the insured items/request.
- Manage complete policy administration after policy placement
- Manage all financial issues between the insurer and the Company.
- Meet with Insurance Broker/Companies regularly.
- Complete claims coordination between various network countries and Insurance Broker/Companies/Surveyor on all global policies
- Maintain claim register for every policy type daily
- Prepare and share a monthly insurance KPI report / dashboard on claims.
- Communicate and educate employees and business leaders about the various insurance coverage and the process to submit the claims.
- Performing internal client satisfaction surveys with regards to insurance providers service level.
- Reviewing Insurance clauses in customer contracts and advising the acceptability or amendments based on company’s insurance policies.
- Prepare insurance clauses for supplier contracts
- Supervise the Insurance Broker/Company performance as per the agreed SLA with them
- Assist department head on various internal Insurance related projects
- Preparing all new policies and renewing all old policies as per set timelines
- Achieving a yearly YoY saving as per the set budgets
- Ensuring full coverage of assets and company activities eliminating any company exposure.
- Achieving agreed TAT for claims settlement
- Ensuring lowest %age of claim rejections by Insurance company
Skills:
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Holding basic professional qualification in insurance (Dip CII or equivalent)
Preferred Skills:
- Fluent in English; Arabic and French is a plus.
- In depth knowledge of insurance program design, implementation, and administration.
- Corporate insurance background is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and service providers in a global setting.
- Flexibility to complete assignments requiring collaboration with individuals located in different time zones across the world.
- Proficiency in MS Office mainly in Excel
