Major responsibilities:
- Lead and advise on finance transformation projects to support origination and sales efforts in Insurance industry
- Manage a team of consulting staff to ensure the smooth delivery of projects
- Act as the escalation point and project representative and maintain sound communication with stakeholders and/or business representatives
- Keep track of industry trends and tap into big data & analytics, robotics to establish thought leadership in finance transformation and technology
- Proactively identify and propose alternative approaches to internal and external senior management staff (CFO, CIO, COO, Head of Finance, SVP, etc.)
Desired qualities in candidates:
- Bachelor's degree or above with over 5 years of Insurance Finance experience
- Hands-on experiences implementing SAP, Oracle, or other Financial Accounting System for FIs or Insurance companies is a big plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially the ability to communicate document requirements and values of digital finance solutions
- Hands-on experience/Knowledge in IFRS17 accounting Assessments is highly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mature judgment and structured decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate to transform businesses with the support of information systems and digital solutions
- Willing to travel frequently to China
- Strong English and Mandarin (both spoken and written) abilities
