Job Description:
Dubai based popular Indian Restaurant is urgently looking to hire Guest Service Associates & Service Captains for New Store Opening in Deira.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in restaurant operations
  2. Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
  3. Thank & give farewell to guests conveying anticipation for their next visit.
  4. Assist guest with table reservation & while seating
  5. Ensure guest are serviced within specified time.
  6. Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.
  7. Speak with guests and staff using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
  8. Anticipate any unexpected guest need and reacts promptly and tactfully.
  9. Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
  10. Record transaction / orders in Point of Sales systems at the time of order.
  11. Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.
  12. Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  13. Responsible for clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
  14. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc. throughout the shift.
  15. Reviews order dockets ensuring accurate and timely preparations for order requirements accordingly.
  16. Present accurate final bill to guest and process payment.
  17. Perform shift closing on the Point of sales terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
  18. Ensures that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas.
  19. Ensures that restaurant brand standards and SOP's are consistently implemented
  20. Supervises, schedules, trains, coaches, corrects, rewards and recognizes staff.
  21. Performs duties of sub ordinates.
  22. Complies with safety policy and procedures.
  23. Preferred : Indian/Nepal.

Prerequisites:
  1. Good command in both spoken and written English.
  2. Should have pleasing personality.
  3. Strong work ethic.
  4. Ability to effectively communicate to guests, employees and management.
  5. Ability to perform under pressure and with deadlines.

Experience:
2 – 3 years of work experience in Food & Beverage gained from a 5-4 star international property, along with 1 year experience in a GSA / Captain position or a similar role an advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: AED 1,300.00 to AED 1,800.00 /month
