We are an international agriculture tech company with a big dream and our mission is to democratize agriculture advancement, bring sustainable farming back to local roots, and build a platform for consumers to make healthier and better choices for themselves, the community, and the planet. We have recently launched our first container farm in the U.A.E, bringing together cutting edge software with the latest in hydroponic technology.
Our team is growing and this is an entry-level position with high growth potential into operations management and product development. Responsibilities include:
- Perform daily farm operations to grow the highest quality vegetables in the UAE.
- Perform routine maintenance activities to uphold the highest food safety standards.
- Accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform timely data collection procedures to improve operating conditions.
- Coordinate inventory and supply of raw materials and production output.
- Provide routine activity reports to management.
Requirements:
1) A strong work ethic and organizational skills
2) An impeccable attention to detail and process
3) A desire to learn new skills and be creative
4) Ability to lift more than 25kg
5) Clear communication skills
6) Fluency in Spoken and Written English
7) High school graduate at the very least
8) Prior experience in food & beverages (handling / processing food) is preferred
Note:
- The first three weeks on the job will be training in Ajman, not Dubai, but transport and accommodation will be arranged.
- This monthly salary will not include accommodation or transportation (your workplace will be located next to a metro station in Downtown Dubai)
